GEO BEET® Tire Ballast uses de-sugared beet juice as a non-toxic, non-corrosive ballast for tires in farm machinery and heavy construction equipment. Our cost effective ballast increases tractor weigh at 11 pounds per gallon. GEO BEET is manufactured in the U.S.A and can be blended with chlorides to melt ice on roads and control dust.

Easy and Simple Fill Procedures
Use our filling guide as a general model for filling tires with liquid ballast. Our guide provides a step-by-step recommendation on how to fill most tires. Always refer to your tractor and tire manufacturer’s requirements, warranty and instruction manuals.
The secret to filling a tire with a liquid is an air-water valve adapter.
1. Rotate tire valve stem to 12 o’clock
2. Deflate and remove tire valve core
3. Attach the adapter and pump.
4. And fill tire with 75% ballast before adding air.
CALCIUM CHLORIDE vs GEO BEET TIRE BALLAST
- CaCl2 is toxic to animals,corrosive, and will kill crops
- Geo Beet and calcium chloride weigh about the same and freeze-proof to same temperature
METHANOL, GLYCOLS (anti-freeze or windshield fluid) vs GEO BEET TIRE BALLAST
- Methanol, glycols are highly toxic to animals
- Methanol, glycols are flammable
- Methanol is very light about 6.5 lbs/gal.Windshield Deicing Fluid only weighs 8 lbs/gal. Very poor utilization of the space inside the tire. (Geo Beet weighs almost 75% more than Methanol)
LEAD WHEEL WEIGHTS vs GEO BEET TIRE BALLAST
- Lead is very expensive, about $1.50 per pound. Geo Beet is at least 33% less expensive.
