BIG MACK™ Acid-Free Acid is a non-fuming, synthetic-acid based cleaner that quickly dissolves iron-oxide, iron “dust”, lime, scale, rust, organic mineral deposits, and soap film from surfaces while removing offensive odors.

BIG MACK Acid-Free Acid may be used on metal, stainless steel, porcelain, plated chrome, grout and mortar.

Recommended Usage

• Use to remove rust, lime and mineral deposits from metal surfaces before painting.
• Use to remove and clean concrete from mixers and truck bodies.
• Use for etching concrete prior to painting or staining.
• Use to remove soap scum, scale, lime, rust and mineral deposits from sinks, stainless steel surfaces, metal fixtures, grout and tile.
• Use in and around toilets and urinals, boilers, humidifiers, ice machines, coolers and water meters to remove scale, lime, rust and mineral deposits.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Test Area: Always prepare a test area to determine product performance, coverage and applicable dilution ratios, as well as the suitability of product for paint and the substrate.

Dilution Ratios:

For rust/iron-oxide removal: use undiluted and allow to soak. BIG MACK Acid-Free Acid may be applied with sponge, cloth, or sprayer. Always rinse thoroughly. May be used full strength with 30-minute contact time for hard-to-reach areas or to reduce or eliminate scrubbing.

For daily cleaning of sinks, bathtubs, showers, chrome fixtures, and porcelain surfaces: dilute BIG MACK Acid-Free Acid with up to 4 parts water.

For discolored grout between wall tiles, heavy soap, lime deposits, toilets and urinals: use BIG MACK Acid-Free Acid as is (undiluted).

Application & Removal:

• Apply (diluted to the appropriate ratio) with mop, brush, or sprayer
• Allow to remain on surface for up to 30 minutes
• Agitate the surface with a brush, mop, or rag
• Rinse thoroughly with water
• May also be used in a pressure washer
